REDUCE AND REUSE BEFORE YOU RECYCLE 

Here are some easy ideas for making less waste.

  • Use both sides of a sheet of paper.
  • Purchase long lasting, durable products.
  • Purchase recycled toner and ink cartridges.
  • Reduce the amount of unnecessary packaging and use materials that is recyclable.
  • Attempt to buy refills and items in bulk as opposed to something new.
  • Reuse bags, boxes, and containers.
  • Borrow, rent, or share tools, sporting equipment, camping supplies, etc.
  • Sell, trade, or donate serviceable goods instead of disposing of them.
